September 1 is Prescribed Music List (PML) day in Texas! We are pleased with the continuing trend to add composers and repertoire–including works by Carol Brittin Chambers, Kelijah Dunton, Nicole Piunno, Omar Thomas and more. As stated by the University Interscholastic League, the PML is ” the repertoire guide for the approximately 750,000 music students and 3,800 performing organizations in the state of Texas.”  To view the PML, and to learn how to submit pieces for addition, click here. YOU can make a real difference!

Maryland has recently updated its website, overhauled its list, and is now accepting new submissions. To check on your state, click here. To see a comprehensive list of music that has been added to state lists, click here

In the 2021-22 academic year, members of the On the List Project team will be speaking at conferences in Louisiana, New Mexico, Texas, The Midwest Clinic, and more. We look forward to seeing you!
